Privacy notice
This explains what happens to information you send us through this website. It is short because we do very little with it.
Who we are
Wawwa Consulting Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17122530. We are the data controller for the information described here. Write to andy@wawwa.io about anything on this page.
What we collect
If you fill in the contact form we collect your name, your email address, your organisation if you give it, and whatever you write in the message box. That is the only personal information this site asks for.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as part of running the site securely. We do not use those logs to identify anyone.
What we do not do
There are no analytics on this site, no advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts following you between pages. We set no cookies, which is why you have not been asked to accept any. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser when a page loads.
We do not sell your information, share it with partners for marketing, or add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.
Why we hold it and on what basis
We use what you send to reply to you and to have the conversation you started. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically responding to a business enquiry that you initiated. If you would rather we did not hold it, tell us and we will delete it.
Who else sees it
The site is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are stored in our Netlify account. Netlify processes data on our behalf under its own data processing terms, and information may be stored on servers outside the United Kingdom under the safeguards those terms provide.
Nobody else has access. We do not pass enquiries to associates or clients without asking you first.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for two years afterwards, so that we can pick up a thread that goes quiet and comes back. After that they are deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email andy@wawwa.io and we will deal with it within a month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
